Infant - Weekly reminders (w/c Monday 10th December 2018)

Dear Parent/Carer,
M&M Pantomime Production of Peter Pan:  The children loved the pantomime this week! Thank you to all of you who made a voluntary donation towards the costs of this live theatre performance. Payments may still be made via ParentPay or by sending in £4.50 in a named envelope to the School Office (please also write M&M or Pantomime on the envelope).
Christmas Jumper Day: The Infant School will be joining the Junior School in celebrating Save the Children, Christmas Jumper Day on Friday 14th December in return for a £1 donation to Save the Children Fund. Children are able to wear a Christmas Jumper, or decorate a jumper of their own. This is to be worn alongside their regular grey trousers/shirt/dress.
Dogs: Parents must come into the playground in order for their child to be dismissed at the end of the day. Please do not stand outside with your dog(s). Also dogs are not allowed in the Memorial Hall.
Spellings: Please find attached a 'Look, Cover, Write' check grid to help assist your child's learning.
Sparkle Books: Please can your children bring in stickers or shiny paper to decorate their sparkle books which we will be using as their special writing journals. Many thanks.
Nursery Children starting Reception September 2019: For children born between 01/09/14 and 31/08/15 please complete the online application by 3pm on the 15th January 2019 or a paper application by 9am on the 11th January 2019.
Year 2 moving up to Junior School: Please complete your application for your child's junior school place by 9 a.m. on the 11th January 2019 if completing a paper application and by the 15th January 2019 if completing an online application.
Accident-Free in CSG:
This is a reminder ahead of the Christmas plays NOT to use School Lane and to park and walk from outside our Safety Zone. If you do need to park near the hall (eg for mobility reasons), please do NOT park in the Guide Hut car park. Aside from the fact it is private property, people have also booked and paid to use it for private events that week - which includes the use of the car park. If you do park there your car may be locked in when private events finish and the gate is padlocked afterwards.
