Dear Parent/Carer,
School Trips: The children (and adults) in Reception really enjoyed their day at the Roald Dahl Gallery in Aylesbury. The children's crocodile puppets were works of art! Year 2 went to Woburn Safari Park and had a wonderful time learning more about the animals. The monkeys were particular favourites! Our thanks to all the parent helpers.
Poppies: The children will be bringing home a knitted poppy kindly donated by the Parish Council. These poppies were knitted by volunteers to commemorate the centenary of World War One and then displayed around the village pond.
Easter Egg Decorating Competition: There is still time to enter the competition. Eggs are available from the school office at £1 per egg. Please see the attached letter for more information.
Summer Menu: Please see attached the menu for next term or click on this link to take you to the webpage. We will add the allergen sheets as soon as we receive them.
Request for wood: Any small offcuts would be gratefully received by our Reception team to enable the children to continue their woodworking activities.
Comic Relief: The total raised across both sites was £719.83. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this worthwhile cause.
Accident-Free in CSG:
Please check out our new child figurines on School Lane-another step forward in our ongoing commitment to keeping our children safe on the school run. They'll provide a more effective barrier into the private Memorial Hall car park and a deterrent to blocking the Crossing Corner.
Remember, if you do see any illegal parking then please call 0343 208 5544 or email transportforbuckinghamshire@nsl.co.uk. The more of you who report any issues, the more likelihood that the council will respond. Thanks!
