Dear Parent/ Carer
We have reached the end of another packed term! It has been a very busy week with Year 1's Village Fete, our Easter Service and today's egg rolling and egg hunt extravaganza! A huge thank you to all the staff for their hard work towards these events, to you for supporting your children and of course to our wonderful PTA for all their ongoing efforts and also with today's egg events.
Charity Day for Hearing Dogs: Friday 26th April will be a mufti day for a suggested donation of £1. Please ensure the children are dressed suitably for school and the weather - no jewellery or high heels please! Suggested charities to support were talked about in classes and then this charity was chosen by the school council. A speaker from Hearing Dogs will be coming in to speak to the children about the charity accompanied by a handler with two hearing dogs. Here is a link to their website should you wish to find out more.
Egg decorating competition: Well done to all the children who entered the egg decorating competition. The entries were all fantastic and we hope you all enjoyed looking at them on display in the Memorial Hall earlier this week. The school council took their judging role very seriously and there were some long deliberations over the winners! A big thank you to Mrs Haynes for organising the competition and to all of you for supporting it. We raised over £100 to be used towards paying for art supplies.
Reception assembly: Please note the change of date for this assembly from the 17th May to the 24th May.
