Infant - Weekly email - Friday 25th June

Dear Parents and Carers,
It's been another busy week at school with so much to fit in before the end of the year! It's lovely to hear about the trips and visits the children have done so far including a visit to GoApe for Year 6, Woodrow High House for Year 4 and a visit by the Wonder Dome for Year 5. Next week the Infant School children will be enjoying a visit from the circus and a wonderful hands on animal experience the following week. All year groups now have trips and visits booked - such a vital part of the school year. Thank you to all parents who have supported us with funding these trips and visits- they make such a difference to the children.
Fund Raising thank you
Thank you to all of those parents who have sponsored the school Mighty Hike team to raise funds for Rennie Grove Hospice who are supporting the family of Charlie Mason. We have raised £540 for this deserving charity already.
Accident Free in CSG
Infant School
Next week we will be reminding the children of general road safety rules and showing them crossing corner. Please support us with this work and use the opportunity of walking to school to teach good road safety.
Can I also remind you that children should be wearing seat belts at all times whilst in the car. The local PCSOs will be visiting at drop off and pick up so that we can encourage road and car safety.
Thank you to those parking in Blizzards Yard car park and around the village.
Arts Week
Monday 17th May to Friday 21st June was Arts Week and the children created lots of wonderful pieces. Please see attached our Arts Week blog.
Circus Skills Workshop and Animal Experiences-Reception, Year 1 and Year 2
Thank you to those parents who have already paid for these wonderful activities. If you are yet to pay please can we ask you to log in to your ParentMail account where the information can be found under 'payments'.

As it is Sports Week next week (Mon 28th - Fri 2nd) Forest School for Reception and Year 1 has been cancelled so that the children have the opportunity to take part in all the fun activities planned.
