Infant - Weekly Email - Friday 21st January

Dear Parent/Carer,

We are pleased to say that volunteers are welcome to come back in and join us from Monday (24th January).
The Big Garden Birdwatch 2022
Our next Eco campaign focuses on biodiversity and how we can encourage wildlife to our school grounds and our local area.
As part of this campaign, we will be taking part in the RSPB’s Big Garden Bird Watch at the end of January. We would love as many children to get involved as possible. Here is how you can join in the fun!
1. Pick a time to spend an hour bird watching, from your window or in the garden. This can be anytime between the 28th and 30th January, morning or night!
2. Count the birds that you see, ignoring any that are in flight. Use the bird ID sheet attached to help you. To avoid double counting, just record the highest number of the bird species that you see at one time, not a running total.
3. Go to the website and record your results there.
Have fun bird watching!
