Dear Parents and Carers,
What a wonderful week we have had with your children. They were so excited to be back at school and have come back in full of enthusiasm and motivation to get on with their learning. Thank you again for all of the hard work you did with home-schooling- you did a great job!
Before Easter I will share a presentation with you about our curriculum and teaching and learning plans so that you know how we are supporting children in the return to school. We are all working hard to ensure that all children are happy and confident in the return so that they are enabled to be the best learners possible as this will make them successful. The presentation will cover how we are using the Catch Up Premium the government will be providing to schools and what actions we are taking to look after the wellbeing of everyone.
I have been asked by Buckinghamshire Education Authority to remind parents and carers to remember the Hands, Face, Space message and to keep 2 metres apart when dropping off and picking up children. There is a great deal of concern about increased transmission due to these times in the day.
I would like to thank those parents who are avoiding public spaces where the year group bubbles can mix. This is really supporting the school with all of the work we are doing to prevent groups of children mixing. Where ever possible we want to avoid having to close a year group due to positive cases.
