Infant - Weekly Email

Dear Parent/Carer,

Baby McCune: We are delighted to announce the safe arrival of Amelie Rose. She is absolutely beautiful and mum and baby are doing well. We are all looking forward to a visit and lots of cuddles!

Wishing Tree: Thank you to all the parents who so generously donate items to the school using the Wishing Tree. Mrs Stainbank would like to say a special thank you to the parents who have donated lavender and rosemary for the beds in the Shakman playground.

Nursery Village Walk: The children had a lovely walk to the village. They visited some of the local shops where they were made to feel very welcome and learn about the businesses and fed the ducks on the pond.

Ruby Class Assembly: Well done to Ruby class on their fantastic assembly this morning. There were lots of happy faces and it was lovely to see them all perform with such confidence.

CSG Playgroup: Dear Parents

We are delighted to invite all prospective parents to an open morning (new team will be there)  on Tuesday 26th June 9.30 - 11am, Please email Carrie on csg_playgroup@btinternet.com if you are able to attend.

Also as Carrie and Melanie will be leaving on the 12th July they would like to invite all past playgroup children (up to year 6) to join us at playgroup after school for some bouncy castle fun!

Kind Regards, Carrie & Melanie

Child Safety and Stranger Danger:  As we approach the summer holidays and as the weather (hopefully) improves and our children are out and about more please do remind them of the importance of the stranger danger message and to be vigilant whilst out playing, to keep themselves and their friends safe. Please speak to your children about how to keep safe when out and about and remind them of the importance of discussing incidents that may make them feel uncomfortable.

Don't forget that it's Dad's bring Kids to School Day Cafe on Friday 13th July...all the fabulous breakfast foods and drink available from 8am until 10am! See you there.

Accident-Free in CSG: Guide Hut Reminder

A polite reminder not to use the Guide Hut carpark - either for parking or as a cut through on foot.

We also wanted to share that a car parked on School Lane yesterday was damaged, causing considerable expense to the owner (who was parked safely and considerately whilst they carried heavy materials into school outside of school run time). As always we would urge all drivers to be considerate and encourage people to contact the school office if you see anything concerning.
