Infant - Weekly Email

Dear Parent/Carer,

Year 2: Year 2 have had a busy and active week this week with a multiskills festival at Chalfonts Community College and the a walk to the Captain Cook Memorial. The children thoroughly enjoyed both events. Many thanks to all the parents who helped out.

Author Assembly: The author Faustin Charles visited us this week and gave a wonderful and entertaining assembly to the children. He kindly signed a copy of his book The Selfish Crocodile for the school to keep.

Reception Play Area: The Reception team were disappointed to come into school this morning to find that their outside play area was not how they left it after the end of the school day yesterday with toys untidy and sand mixed up with the water. Please can we take this opportunity to remind you that no one is allowed in this area before or after school. Thank you.

Booklet: Early Years children will be bringing home a booklet from Buckinghamshire Services for Children and Young People for them to share with a male relative/carer.

Strawberry Fayre - this Saturday

The PTA would like to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who has helped pre/during/post Strawberry Fayre! We look forward to seeing as many of you, your family and friends on the Shakman Field on Saturday, 12-4pm.  This is our biggest fund-raising event for the School and we can’t do it without everyone’s support.  Lots of stalls to walk round, browse and buy.  Inflatables, giant games, a fantastic tea, coffee & bar area along with an amazing BBQ this year! We hope you all have a lovely afternoon and good luck in the Raffle - some wonderful prizes to be won....

Accident-Free in CSG:

Avoiding the Safety Zone

Here are the vehicles parked inconsiderately in our Safety Zone this week. Please find safe and considerate parking elsewhere:

Maroon Vauxhall **

Blue Ford **

A thank you to the rest of our school community, who are walking to school or parking and striding from outside the Safety Zone, encouraging children to walk on the pavement and not on the road on School Lane and helping to keep us Accident-Free in CSG. Well done everyone!
