Infant - Weekly Email

Dear Parents/Carer,
Dads to School Day:  A huge thank you to the PTA for hosting a very successful Dad's day this year. The children have enjoyed the day immensely and the school would not be able to hold such events without the help of the parents who volunteer for the PTA. Thank you to all the dads and relatives attending today and supporting the school. An extra thank you to the dads who braved the show and tell experience! The children loved hearing about all the different jobs and it gives them a real insight into the possibilities open to them in the future. We wish all mothers and grandmothers a very happy day on Sunday.
World Book Day & Author Visit - We are pleased to tell you that we have rescheduled our celebration of World Book Day to Wednesday 28th March.  We would love it if children could come to school dressed up in the costumes that they had planned for last week.  We are also re-arranging the author to visit after the Easter holidays and will let you know the date as soon as it is confirmed.  Please keep your book orders coming as we will fulfill them then.

Thanks to the Gardens Association Hall
Many thanks to the Gardens Association Hall, who have kindly cut back the bushes in front of the hall. This widens the footpath and our safe Crossing Corner is now easier to access! A big thanks too to Sapphire parents on patrol this week.
Over the last two weeks the vehicles below have been parking inconsiderately in our Safety Zone. Please could the drivers of these cars find parking elsewhere and avoid the Keep Clear and the Guide Hut (which is not for school use):
