As you may know the Strawberry Fayre takes place in June each year. It is a very popular village event and the main PTA fundraiser for the Infant School. Each year we ask local business for sponsorship and raffle prizes to help to cover the costs of the fayre and to raise even more money for the School.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
The PTA is small this year so we really need someone (or a group of someones!) from outside the committee to take charge of raising sponsorship and prizes!
You'd need to approach businesses (some in person, some by phone/email) in the next couple months but it can be at whatever time works for you. We have lots of suggestions and details of previous/regular sponsors to start you off. Why not get a group of your friends together and try to break our previous best? Or if you can help with just a proportion of the work please do let us know, we're happy to share the work out!
Maybe you own or work for a local business that could sponsor us or provide a prize? We'd love to hear from you! All businesses are shown on a big poster at the entry gate and in the school newsletter and we're happy to discuss arrangements like sponsoring specific stalls or handing out leaflets at the event.
Please find a member of the PTA in the playground, email/phone us or pop your details in the pta post box by reception. Thank You!
