Infant - Weekly email

Dear Parents/Carers,

Prof David Brodie: The children had a fascinating assembly with Prof Brodie who spoke about the children in Nepal and their desire for colourful reading books. If your child would like to donate a colourful second hand book  to the children of Nepal, please place them in the red box in the main entrance.

Parent Information Meetings: The information from these meetings are on the school website and can be accessed here.

Junior School Open Day: There is an Open Day for prospective parents on Thursday 5th October. Please see the attached flyer.

Lunchboxes: There are a number of lunchboxes in the Memorial Hall left over from the summer term. Please could you check if any of them are yours and take them home. Any still there next Friday will be thrown away.

Accident-Free in CSG:

Thanks to everyone walking the walk!

Thank you to families you are now using Blizzards Yard and walking up. And to the 73 people who have responded to the parking permits survey! We'll share more soon about that, as well as about our visit from the police yesterday to support this campaign.

We have had some cars sitting in the Keep Clear zone, on the slope by the Memorial Hall or on the double yellow lines on Silver Hill. Please could the following vehicles find safe and considerate parking (away from School Lane):

Green Nissan Micra *****
Silver Volkswagen *****
Black Volkswagen *****

Please do ask Grandma/Grandpa/childminders to avoid School Lane too. Whether cones are in place or not, don't forget that the Memorial Hall and Guide Hut car parks are only for use by club attendees (e.g. the blind association) and are NOT school parking.

Let's leave the few places on School Lane available for those who need them most. Please do let us know if you think that applies to you and you should be exempt from the Parking Promise.
