Dear Parents/Carers
 
Church Service: It was wonderful to see so many of you at the Church Service. All the children performed magnificently. It is always so lovely to mark this special time of year with the whole community.
 
African Feast Day: Year 2 produced a wonderful African Feast to celebrate the end of their Africa Topic. The children and parents enjoyed the food immensely and the performances of African drumming, singing and dancing were much enjoyed by all.  A huge thank you to all the Year 2 staff.
 
Egg Hunt and Rolling:  The children enjoyed their egg hunt and egg rolling and meeting the Easter Bunny! Thank you to the PTA for all their hard work to in supporting this event and to all the parents who supplied cakes for the cake sale.
 
Menu Change: We have had notification from our hub kitchen that they are providing normal penne pasta on Tuesdays, week 1 instead of the wholemeal fusilli pasta. Please find attached the allergen sheet for week 1. No allergens have changed, just the fact it is different pasta.

Website Disruption: our website provider will be conducting some essential planned maintenance on our website between 8am-8pm on the 8th April. The website may be unavailable during this time. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
 
Cleaner Required from September: The Junior School site is looking to recruit a Cleaner to work 5 days per week from 3.45pm to 5.45pm. 
Rates of pay are in line with Bucks Pay Scale 1b/6, approx £7.50 per hour, term time only. 
Please call the office to request an application form.
 
Swap a Story: Thank you to all the children who have participated in swap a story over the last 5 weeks and to all the parents who have encouraged daily reading. Over Easter please count up the number of ticks in total and write this in the total box on the back of the booklet. Completed booklets should then be handed to class teachers for the prize draw on Friday 22nd April.
 
Science challenge: There has been another amazing response to the science challenge and there have been some wonderful projects completed. Well done to all the children who took part. This challenge has now ended but look out for the new challenge which will be launched in the summer term.
 
Lost property: We still have a large amount of lost property at school. All unnamed items of school uniform has been taken to be sorted out and sold as second hand uniform. There are also two large bags of unnamed clothing and other items still in school. If this is not claimed by the end of the first week back at school after the Easter break, these items will be given to charity.
 
***PTA NEWS***
 
Help at Home Smarties:  Please encourage your child to complete some simple helping tasks in return for 20p for their Smarties tube. Don't forget to write their name on the tube (so we can write certificates) and return to school after the holidays, thank you!

100 Club: This months winner is our very own Kay Wilson! Well done Kay, spend your winnings wisely! 

Foreign Coins: If you're jetting off on holiday this Easter please consider bringing any left over currency to school for our fundraising pot. All currencies welcome, old and new!
