Dear Parents/Carers

Pudsey Bear: The children were very excited to meet Pudsey Bear on Wednesday, he enjoyed the hugs he received!

Winter Olympics: Reception took part in the Winter Olympics at Dr Challoner's High School. The children took part in a variety of activities. Huge fun was had by all. Thank you to Mrs Illsley who also accompanied the children.

Start of school day: To clarify the arrangements for the start of the school day, 8.55 am is the official/legal start to the day when all children must be in school for registration. However, we open the door at 8.45 am to allow a gentle start to the day where children are able to change their reading books and to give parents a chance to talk to their class teacher. Due to circumstances we may very occasionally be a few minutes late in opening the door and we thank you for your understanding in this.

On Wednesday, Year 1 is having a Victorian Day and their classroom will be set out like a classroom from that period.  Please could all the Year 1 children come into School dressed in costume.

Please see attached a flyer from PFO regarding their Christmas camps.

On Saturday 26th November the village Christmas lights will be switched on.  Please see the attached flyer.

Friends of Chalfont St Giles Library are having an author come in and speak about his latest book, please see the attached flyer for more detail.
