Infant -  Lunches on School Census day (6th October)

Dear Parents/Carers,

This coming Thursday is school census day, which is a way for the education authority to collect data from each school.  As you know, children in EYFS and Key Stage 1 are entitled to a Universal Infant Free School Meal (UIFSM). This is paid for by the school and then reimbursed via government funding. The amount of funding the school receives to cover this cost is directly linked to how many meals are served on census day, this Thursday. The more meals that are ordered, the more funding the school will receive to cover these costs.

If your child does not normally have a meal, please would you consider ordering one for one day only? There will be no cost to you, but the school will receive a little bit of extra funding for a meal every day for the coming financial year. You can still send in a supplementary packed lunch if you wish. The deadline for orders for Thursday is today

Please see here for the menu.

Many thanks,
