Dear Parent/Carer,

NHS choices

We have a number of children attending this school who have a severe allergy to nuts - including both peanuts and tree-growing nuts.  This allergy is not just triggered through ingestion but can also be via touch and inhalation.

Under no circumstances are any items containing nuts or nut products to be brought onto site, either during the school day or before and after school.  This includes birthday treats that get handed out to the children.  Such products also include peanut butter and Nutella/hazelnut chocolate spread and some cereal bars. Your cooperation on this matter is very much appreciated.

Medicines - any pupil medicines held in school will be sent home today.

PTA Roundup - Please see the attached document for the end of year summary

School Crossing Patroller: Bucks County Council are still advertising for a crossing patroller for The Deanway crossing - if you or someone you know is interested please see further detail here.

Community events - CSG Village Show will take place on Saturday 7th September - click here for details of the parade and the talent show. Show schedules are available at the School Office. Full details can be found at

Children have been working on entries for the village show during the past few weeks and this work will be sent home this week. Parents can then submitted these entries to the show committee. Details of these categories and copies of the entry form are on the website here.  You can also enter online via the CSG Show website -

Colouring competition entries can be completed at home and handed in at Chalfont St Giles Library by 31st August. The children have been given paper copies to take home or a printable version is on the website here.

The Village Library Summer Reading Challenge is being held again this year - details are  available here

Accident-Free in CSG:

Just a reminder that new, free car park passes will be available in September for Blizzards Yard for both the Infant and Junior Schools.

Thanks again to those who park away from the school and walk with your children. It also helps your children develop road sense!
