CSG Juniors - Welcome to the new school year

Dear all

We hope that everyone has enjoyed the summer break and is ready for the start of the new school year tomorrow (Wednesday 4th September).

The first two weeks of term are our Learn to Learn weeks during which we all have a chance to settle into school routines.

School meals - menus are now on the School Meals page of the website here

School clubs - details of before and after school clubs are on the Clubs page of the school website here. There are still spaces in all of the external clubs but we are still awaiting details for the gym club.

Weekly email - a reminder that this is sent out to parents and guardians of our current children at the end of the day on Friday . Please let us know if you wish to be removed from our whole school mailing list or if you are aware of a parent/carer who would like to be added. Copies of weekly emails sent home on Fridays are added to the Latest News page on the website

Letters - copies of all letters sent home are added to the letters page of the Website. Paper copies are available from the letter holders by the school office. If you are not able to print at home please contact the School Office.

Class Pages on Website - each class has their own page on the school website

Pick Up Arrangements - from 4th September 2019 all children will need to be picked up from their classroom at the end of the day - either by parent/carer or by a nominated adult.

  • At 15.30 children will be dismissed by a member of staff from their classroom to either their parent or a nominated adult. If you will be asking a nominated adult to pick up your child please complete the nomination form on the website here

  • If you are late to collect your child please go to the School Office where your child will be waiting.

  • If children are still waiting at 15:45 then we will contact parents to confirm collection details.

  • If you make an ad hoc arrangement for your child to go home with a friend, who is not on your nominated collectors list, please can you inform the school via email by 11am on that day.

School Milk - if you have ordered school milk for your child please can you let them know that they will need to come to the Dining Hall to collect this milk during morning break.

The School Calendar is on the website - if you wish to keep up to date with our calendar entries then you can synch the website calendar to your own online calendar here or download TheSchoolApp  The School App - gives you quick access to school calendar and weekly emails - download from your App Store or see our website link here

Classlist - as a school we use Classlist for parents to communicate with other parents, class parent reps and the PTA. If you do not already use Classlist as an Infant School parent then an invitation link will be sent out to you in September. Please take a moment to read the guidelines on appropriate use of Classlist and do not use the announcements section to advertise businesses etc. All pupils have now been allocated to their new classes.
