FREE HALF TERM WATER SAFETY SESSIONS AT CHILTERN POOLS, AMERSHAM
The RNLI and Chiltern Pools invite our children to take part in one of two Water Safety Sessions at the Chiltern Pools, Bensheim Way, Chiltern Avenue, Amersham, HP6 5AH on Friday, 21st February: Session 1 at 10am; Session 2 at 11am.
Pupils will learn:
about the work of the RNLI
Water safety on the beach and near rivers
The Water Safety Code - how to keep themselves safe
Understand the challenges of different bodies of water (e.g. waves; currents)
How to help others whilst also keeping themselves safe
TO BOOK on to one of these sessions, please contact Julia Mills, Sports Officer, Chiltern and South Bucks - Julia.Mills@gll.org.
Please note: Children need to be on poolside and ready to start at the above times. They need to bring their swimming kit and a large towel to sit on/keep warm in for any theory.
This is an amazing FREE opportunity however, we would be grateful if parents could make a voluntary donation to the RNLI (there will be a collection tin at the centre).
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
